Food
Their cream of mushroom soup, simply referred to as creme de champignons with truffle oil, stands out as a culinary masterpiece. It boasts a rich and flavorful blend of mushrooms, salt, truffle oil, butter, cream, and pepper, all skillfully combined to achieve a dish with a perfect consistency and a delightful umami taste. It’s undeniably a highlight on the menu, elevating this classic dish to perfection in only a select few establishments. Infused with truffle oil, the cream of mushroom soup offers a nuanced flavor profile that unquestionably makes it a winning choice as an appetizer.
Moving on to our next delight, the dirty south burger takes center stage, featuring crispy chicken marinated and prepared in the southern style, crowned with pimento cheese, pickles, and spicy mayo. For an extra kick, you can opt to add beef bacon to the ensemble. This gourmet burger distinguishes itself with its southern-style crispy chicken, imparting a succulent, seasoned crunch to the warm bun. Topped with pickles and drizzled with spicy mayo, it tantalizes the taste buds with a fusion of saucy and spicy flavours. Served piping hot, these gourmet burgers offer a complexity of flavours that will be savored by aficionados of chicken burgers like no other.
Following the delectable burger, we sampled their tom yum chicken and prawn ramen, which showcases a harmonious blend of Asian flavors. This ramen dish features a flavorful medley of hot and sour tom yum broth, prawns, chicken, and ramen noodles. The taste profile strikes a perfect balance of sourness with a subtle hint of tang and spice. While it may fall slightly short in terms of spiciness for those accustomed to the lingering heat of tom yum, the chicken and noodles are impeccably cooked.
As for the price range, a meal at Verte ranges from Tk180 to Tk1290, catering to various budgets and preferences.
